Used the 8-9 and the 6-7 to catch bonefish for a week in Los Roques. Flawless performance during a week that saw more expensive reels fail. Great reel, great price and looks great on a rod.

This reel is great. I bought it because it was about[$]cheaper than any of the big name fly reels and the drag was the tightest. Haven't had any trouble and have caught my fair share of big steelhead. I have used it in AK waters and Florida waters and have had no trouble from fresh to saltwater. I would recommend this to any beginner to avid fly fisherman.
