I bought two of these, for my brother (retired Alaska fly-fishing guide), and his son. They live near Idaho's St. Joe river, and will be using these throughout northern Idaho and Northwest Montana. They both agree that Okuma's reels offer performance usually found on reels many times their price.

I loaded this reel up with Orvis Clearwater 9 wt. for some Cape May surf-casting. The feel of this reel just says "Quality."
