I originally purchased this real to use on northern pike / large mouth trip in Ont Canada to switch between floating and intermediate lines. I can't say enough good about this reel, for the price and the capability to change spools is priceless! I can say that I had no issues with this reel playing 18 - 36 inch pike or 3 - 5 lb large mouth. Drag adjustment is good, it takes a little time to find the sweat spot of the drag but when you do you are fine. I guess the only test for this reel is the test of time, to see how it holds up after years of switching spools in and out. Great Product, Great Value

Best reel and spare cassette spool on the market in that price range. Other companies should pay attention to this design. Flawless, seamless, painless......... Great product, would highly recommend
