First thing, I bought this reel thinking it was made in England but there is a "made in Korea" sticker on the bottom of the reel seat. Secondly, the start-up is bad. Seems like it takes a lot of force to start it spinning and keep it spinning. Thirdly, it's much wider than it appears in the pictures and I could not find the width stated anywhere. Would I recommend this reel to someone else? Based on start-up alone...no. It is a pretty reel though.

This is an excellent top of the line centerpin reel. It is lightweight, yields line easily, and is silky smooth. The only thing I'd change is to increase the tension on the three position spool check. When walking from one place to another it would be nice if the pawl engaged the reel spool more.
