Really takes in line fast. I'm always in contact with mt bait on bottom. Can really burn spinners and buzzbaits. Got a 5:1 too. Great for Crankbaits

I am out on a boat at least twist a month and this addition to my equipment (Shimano Curado 300E)meets all my need for light and heavy applications. I normally use a Shimano, Calcutta TE for Catalina kelp fishing but this reel meets and exceeds in lighter weight and easier casting for longer distances.
