Needs power handle , handle to short.
I bought power handle and it made reel that more impressive.

I use this reel for stirckly bass and cats, its the boom either way. Best reel I have ever owned,or fished with.

I bought the c3 5500 on a recomendation at the tackle shop.I needed a good reel for channel cat, sturgeon, and muskie. The reel was so good that I bought two more the following season. Best reel I own and would not buy any other for this purpose.
