I bought the CL in a 8' 6" 4/5 4pc. to use as a travel, backup rod, a local fly shop said this rod cast as well as a st croix legend, which I own in a 6 wt.I also was impressed ,a wf 4line ,matched reel this rod is a powerfull, mid flex rod,cast well at all distances.
