Comments about Cortland xxCortland Precision XC Fly Rods disc:
very easy to carry around, especially when you go fishing in high mountains lakes, accurate casting,very light and simply... beautiful. I believe it will be the first choice rod from now on, not "the other rod", as I thought when I bought it.

My first impression of this rod is that it may be more than I needed. I've fished the Delaware East and West branches (STNY)over the last couple of weekends consistenly reaching fish where I couldn't approach before without spooking them. I am a transplanted Texan working a project in this area with a specific goal in mind. I want to hook a large Smallmouth Bass on my new fly rod. I have been fishing for trout to refine my techniques and practice while the water warm up. This is a great all around rod with a lifetime of pleasure built into every piece.
