I have used these minnow worms for a couple of seasons in shallow stained water. Purple and June Beetle work great on bass in this water. Pickerel hit the bait repeatedly, but it seemed a little big for the 15 inch pickerel to keep it. I jig it at a moderate speed off the weeds or lily pads with no weight. It's heavier than conventional worms and moves like it has a weighty head, so at each jig of the rod tip the head moves left and right, triggering a strike. Fish USA was the only vendor that said this model was being discontinued, so I bought a bunch a packages. Everyone else simply had no stock. Buy 'em while you can get 'em.

I will be a repeat customer.
