Comments about Thirty Two North Corp. Stabilicers Replacement Cleats:

I use the stabilicers but the cleats need to be replaced since they eventually do loosen or wear down. I recommend purchasing them now so you have them when you need them. They last quite a while, but eventually you will need to replace them. It is nice to have them on hand so you are always safe on the ice and snow.

Comments about Thirty Two North Corp. Stabilicers Replacement Cleats:

This was the first time I ever used spikes in my felt soles and it was not what I was expecting. When you are used to wearing felt soles only your feet tend to slid across the rocks smoothly. Unfortunatately these made the rocks a whole lot tuffer to navigate. I am still geting used to them, but think I would prefer my felt soles without them.

Stabilicers are a great product. I started using them about 2-3 years ago to hike in the Adirondacks. They are a definite replacement for crampons for all but the highest elevations.

Comments about Thirty Two North Corp. Stabilicers Replacement Cleats:

Do not go on the ice without a pair of these. I've tried virtually every type of ice cleat there is! From yaktrax to everything. All other products are inferior to stabilicers. I actually bought them for a buddy for Christmas. Went fishing with him at Flaming Gorge Res. in Utah. I read reviews on this product and was concerned about cleats falling out. None did! Anyway, if you were concerned about it, buy $5 worth of extra cleats. The extra cleats screw in and screw out. Plus if you buy your buddy a pair, the site sends you a $5 off coupon. Can't wait for mine to get here!
