since i fish on shore and this lure is lightweight must add a waterfloat for further casting but it realistic look catches fish if there are any there.

I would buy this lure again

I use the 1-3/4" rainbow trout version on a variety of fish. Just last week I caught crappie, large/smallmouth bass, and walleye on this lure. Out of about forty strikes, I lost only two fish. It is my favorite lure between 4-6 feet.

constant slow retrieving or if the bottom is snag-free retriev then pause and let it sink to the bottom and repeate.

Second Testimonial on this lure. If you dont try this lure, your missing out! I use the 2-5/8" Minnow (rainbow trout color). I catch EVERYTHING. This past weekend, I caught my limit in Gator Trout as well as two GAG GROUPER. ON THE FLATS!!! I love this lure, the only thing I do to the lure, is I change out the treble hook to a larger size 6 red treble. That seems to help the action and the fish dont bend the hooks as bad.

I have tried many suspending and sinking lures for the flats here in Florida, but this lure out performs all others I have tried. Just this weekend, I took a friend to the flats around my Air Force base here in Florida, and we not only caught fish. We out fished anyone out on the flats that day. We caught speckled trout, red , Jack and even caught Black Tip Shark that ranged between 2 and 3 feet long. Lost a few lures only because this lure seems to work best without a monofilimant leader, but it was worth it!

I was turned on to this freshwater lure by a friend who "stumbled" on its success on the flats of Florida. The lure has amazing likeness to the local bait fish that roam the flats. I have caught Snook, Redfish, Trout, Whiting, Pompano and Yellow Tail Jack that frequent the flats. The lure size I prefer to use is 2-3/4", it seems to be the exact size that all flats fish seem to prey on. I give this lure a score of 9 on a scale of 1-10!!

I use this lure on Red Drum and Speckle Trout. I replace factory hooks with 4x strong saltwater wide gap hooks just to handle those BIG RED'S in the 15# to 20# range and Trout from 1# to 8#. Even when the Trout have torn the paint off and the eyes gone, those pesky fish still hammer the hell out of it. ( spotted sea trout have some really sharp teeth and alot of them) These are really TUFF baits.

We have used the L-minnow in a local tournament for a number of years and we have finished in the money every time. The wobble on this lure is undoubtabaly the reason that the fish absouloutly attack it.
