Looked like a good glass minnow imitation, so I bought a couple of these to try on ladyfish, which we use as bait for larger fish. Found that it was not only extremely effective on ladyfish, but also caught snook, trout, jacks and redfish as well. Great little lure.

Best results are in the Spring or Fall when the water cools. All types of trout and Northerns hit these savagely. They have tremendous movement. The treble hooks are extremely sharp. I recommend pinching some of the barbs on the hooks to help prevent damage to the fish when releasing them. They are a great addition to the arsenal of lures, flies and spinner bait for any trout fisherman.

I Trout fish in the Catskill's on the Beavercreek and Willowmeoc. The trout go nuts for this lure, their's nothing like it. Fly fisherman cringe when
I enter the stream/pool. I fish alot of no-kill sections of the stream where the larger trout hang out and they absolutely go nuts over this lure. I'm 6'4" 270 and the fish are so fat especially in the spring that I can barely get my hands around them. If you want to catch more fish, take it from me, purchase some Pins Minnows in SW (sinking version) and I guarantee you will be suprised on the amount of fish you will catch. Their are times I just throw the lure in the water and let the natural current of the stream just take it give the lure one good twitch, simulating a wounded minnow and wham they hit that lure w/ vengence, the lure is actually sideways in their mouth, they strike and do not let go. The hooks are very sharp for good hook set.
I use a G.Loomis 6 1/2 foot rod w/4lb test and a Okuma reel. What a combination. You cannot ask for a better quality rig than that. Good Luck and I will see you in the spring. You will recognize me w/my tan ball cap w/the american flag on it and a smile on my face because I'm catching trout.

This size really seems to shine for catching bass. Excellent action in the water.
Not a heavy lure but casts very well and far on 4#-6# line with spin gear. Going to try it for saltwater. Well worth the cost.

I fish the Indian River around Jensen and Stuart area. One nite about 3 weeks ago I was fishing the lighted docks. Icould see the Snook laying in the water but they would not hit anything until I tied on the Yozuri Pin's Minnow. I couldn't believe it we caught and released 11 Snook in about 1 hr. I am a true believer.
