these lures work great for trolling for salmon, the only con is that the hooks break easily. i usually put on a couple of beefier treble hooks and have a great lure.

I fish Pennsylvania every spring . Yo-zuri pin minnow is the best lure I ever used. Its easy to use and reliable. Once a fish strikes not many get off mainly because the hooks are very sharp. Leading to the testament these lures are very well made and worth the price

great little trout bait in the tailwaters an also in fast moving water tied with a loop knot it works realy great could stand some better hooks i have bent some out on some bigger fish but a great bait

Boy do these things catch trout! I used these on the stream all day long. I fished them upstream then again down stream. I caught trout of all sizes.
Fast or slow,smooth or jerky retrieve doesn't matter. Sometimes even as the lure hit the surface I got strikes.
As evening approached I went to a brighter color lure and fished until dusk. Try adding "Pro Guide Smelly Jelly" to the lure for added attraction.

this lure will attract al kinds of fish. Its funny how a small bluegill no bigger than the lure will be caught as well as that big bass. Have caught catfish with it as well as crappie,bass and walleye

Of all the lures out there this should be on your short list to have- especially when targeting big trout that are feeding on shad. It's the one lure I have confidence in- and that's because they have proven time after time that they consistently work.

I've owned fishing lodges fresh and salt water for over 45 years and if this lure were larger, it would be a killer in either. It brings fish up when they're not hitting, with patience. However the larger fish get off or bend the hook and escape. A 3" or 4" one would knock em dead.

The 2 3/4 inch minnow in baby bass color catches just about anything that swims. Great on back country snook and baby tarpon as well as trout, redfish, jacks, ladyfish and snapper on the flats. Only negative are the light treble hooks need to be changed out.

These lures make stream trout fishing almost too easy. They are very flashy and the trout continually strike them at all times during the day. I have caught upwards of 40 trout in one day using the Brooke and Rainbow trout 2" minnows. The larger ones seem to work just as good.

I've been out with friends on days when I caught 5 or 6 fish with these lures and no one else caught anything with all kinds of other lures. The turquoise and silver one seems to work the best.

FOUND OUT BY CHANCE THAT THEY WORK GREAT ON SMALLER TUNA. ONLY PROBLEM HOOKS WERE A BIT LIGHT AND OPENED ON LARGER FISH. RE-RIGGED USING A 'STINGER' HOOK IN FRONT ON MAIN LINE WITH SWIVEL ATTACHED TO LURE.
ALSO CAUGHT MAHI WITH IT.

These Pin Minnows work great on stream trout in
S.E. Mn. Just flip them into the spots the trout
hang in, and they always chase it down and usually
they will smack it. I allways have an assortment
of them in my gear box. Just be sure to have at
least 2 of each of your favorites, if you get
into the snags. My only gripe is that I seem to
lose more fish than i'd expect, but who cares if
you let 'em go anyway.

The 2" model works wonders on stream and river trout. Cast across and slightly down current, click the bail over and let it swing on a tight line. Hits are normally very aggressive if the trout want to eat it. Even if the trout don't eat, they ususally show themselves on the first pass through so you'll know their address.

This size also works well on bass, perch and bluegills when lake fishing. Well worth the cost.

This lure works equally well in small streams for trout and in trolling in large lake for trout. Dives about 18 inches, great success in attracting fish, even over live minnows.

I ordered 5 different patterns. The perch color killed them. My brother thought that I would only get pan fish on this little lure. WRONG!!! I caught a variety of Michigan inland lake fish. I also love that both hooks locked the fish everytime. This allowed me to never lose a fish. But be extremely careful. the hooks are much sharped than a standard hook and they will hook your skin. They float about a foot off the surface. I used a splitshot to aid in casting. I am very pleased.

A must have for trout fisherman.

This lure in the 2 inch variety is a killer on brown trout in shallow streams. Pull it quick like a jerk bait and bang, fish after fish.

these lure kill'em in da creeks where im from. looks just like real minnows. the purple one is the best pattern i used so far out of all the patterns i tried. good lure to have in the tackle.

First time I used this bait I caught a 16" rainbow on the first cast and 2 20" browns on back to back casts.......all in the first few minutes and fishing from a dock no less!

2-3/4" floating flame pattern is what I used

This lure is dynamite during the spring when the fish are in the shallows (I really shouldn't let others know about it---not good for my interest). The only qualm I have is the fact the pike, pickerels, and muskies like it too besides the bass and panfish and they swallow the bait and snap the line with their sharp teeth. It happened to me four times in a row once! A lot of good lures went to waste that day! I wasn't a happy camper for sure that day.

Great little Trout lure! I use these mostly in small streams, they are very dependable and fool the larger trout as well! Very consistent action and twitching the rod-tip gives even more. A must-have for stream fishing.

The 2 inch 1/16 ounce version is very effective on stream smallmouth bass. It can also trigger strikes from large trout used to seeing the traditional spinners and spoons.

I always turn to this lure.When all others failed this one produced!I've caught just about everything on this lure,crappie,Perch,Muskie, and some of the biggest bass I've ever seen. I recommend using this lure with a twiching retrieval. I removed most lures from my box and just rely on yo-zuri's now.

I use these little guys for trout. They seem to catch browns and bows. The black gold color works awersome, although, I noticed with these new ones that they changed the coloration a bit and made the gold/orange more holographic. This new style hasn't seemed work quite as well as the old, but it still works pretty good.

The rainbow pattern works great on stocked Trout in Mid South rivers. Fast retrieve with a jerk, jerk......pause, pound the cover just like your bass fishing.
