The Jointed Rapala has produced record largemouth bass, record king salmon, record walleyes and record steelhead to name a few.

Comments about Rapala / Normark Rapala Original Jointed Lures:

Trolled shallow, (-12ft) in clear water over weeds in early spring, these are deadly for Macks, Rainbow, and Smallies, because they float up out of weeds when stopped, but still have a teasing action. I just wish they came with a snap ring in the nose,(widens the wobble) and a version with no front hook would be nice, as I release most of my fish anyway, and don't like them injured, if possible.
