Comments about Strike King Lure Co. Strike King Bleeding Bait Mini-King Spinnerbaits:

This past summer I was fishing creeks for smallies. I was using crankbaits. They were effective, but they kept getting hung-up in brush piles and on sunken tree branches. I switched over to Strike King Bleeding Bait Mini-Kings and they were perfect. I could drop them right next to woody cover without getting hung-up too often. Dressed up with a curly tail grub, they pulled in the biggest smallies I caught. The only reason the review isn't a 5 is because you often need to bend the wire to get the blades out of the way of the skirt. Otherwise, it is a great and effective lure, particularly when fishing in cover.
