It alows begginers to preffetionalls, to experience the strength and power of all fish and learn to enjoy the moments spent with family and friends.I think its cool just to see the lure spinning freely in the water and to watch it disapere as the largest fish uved seen takes a bite out of your lure!!!!!

Comments about Yakima Bait Worden#39;s Original Rooster Tails:

When you look at a Rooster Tail you wonder how in heck are fish attracted to this thing. Don't even think about it. Just tie one on and start using. I've been successful with largemouth and smallmouth bass, black perch, panfish, walleye, and especially trout. The rainbow and yellow color work best for me and I've used them in rivers, lakes and ponds. The perfect all around bait.

Comments about Yakima Bait Worden#39;s Original Rooster Tails:

I walk for hours going upstream on our small rivers the going is tough at times, forget waders
just shots runners vest rod hat and polaroids
One hour upstream equates 15 minutes return the best day was a few years back when a mate and I walked the Howqua River started at 6am and got back at 8pm, we saw 10lb trout, deer, paltypus wombats and snakes and yes we were completely stuffed ! But what a day !!

Comments about Yakima Bait Worden#39;s Original Rooster Tails:

There is a reason Worden's Original Rooster Tails have been able to hang around so long. They consistently catch a variety of fish. They are relatively inexpensive compared to other lures, and a small variety of sizes and colors in your tackle box is a nice insurance policy for those times when other methods aren't producing.

Comments about Yakima Bait Worden#39;s Original Rooster Tails:

I've not used this color before, but have come to really love a number of Rooster Tails. I use them for bream fishing (bluegill/crappie) and small largemouth bass. Might as well go home if fish are hitting the Rooster Tail. It's only "drawback" is that it's treble hook's easily snagged in waters w/ much vegetattion of underwater tree's/limbs.

Comments about Yakima Bait Worden#39;s Original Rooster Tails:

Reel it fast down stream, or cast it straight across stream and swing it. Cast it down stream and swing across. The slower the better. I missed a big trout nce and then reeled in, put on power bait and let it sit, aha caught him....lol

Safety pin type Rooster Tail

Good For Variety Of Fish
Best Uses:
Fresh Water
Describe Yourself:
Casual Fisher
Bottom Line:

Comments about Yakima Bait Worden#39;s Original Rooster Tails:

Rooster tails used to make and sell a safety pin style lure with the body on one side and the spinner on the other side of the pin, hook trailing the body. I like this lure and still have a couple in my tackle box. I like these lures because they don't twist your line when casting or trolling like the straight spinners do. Will "Rooster Tails"by Worden ever make these lures again? I caught a lot of fish with these lures in the past.

Comments about Yakima Bait Worden#39;s Original Rooster Tails:

When I need trout for the smoker or the freezer a chartreuse (if the water is discolored) or grey (if the water is clear)1/16-1/8 oz. roostertail is my weapon of choice. The rest of the time I'm a fly fisherman.
