I can't say it enough - GULP! baits are better than live bait. Really!

Unless I am buying heavy duty Trolling Plugs for offshore I never buy anything else.

Comments about Berkley Berkley Gulp! 4 Saltwater Swimming Mullet:

Seriously, Gulp! baits are quite simply better than live bait. Almost every style and color will catch speckled trout and red fish when drifting on the flats in Tampa Bay. We also slow troll the swimming mullet across wide flats to locate fish.

Comments about Berkley Berkley Gulp! 4 Saltwater Swimming Mullet:

The pumpkin colored mullet has become a favorite in our arsenal of lures/baits. Sometimes it is the only bait we use for the 2-3 hours we are out. The spotted bay bass in our area love it (San Diego). The 4" mullet has caught fingerlings up to 14" spotties. Although not as consistently, it also attracts halibut and bone fish. Easy to pack and handle.

Comments about Berkley Berkley Gulp! 4 Saltwater Swimming Mullet:

This is the best all around bait. The old mullet seem tougher then the new ones, use all the different ones as it goes from one to another.Watch if you by packs the tails are bent? White seems to be the best.

Comments about Berkley Berkley Gulp! 4 Saltwater Swimming Mullet:

We have up given up most of our plastics and swtiched to Berkeley Saltwater Gulp. The pumkinseed 4" mullet works consistently in the San Diego Bay and South Bay areas. The spotted bay bass hit it consistently. We also get hits by halibut, croaker and bone fish. We use the watermelon and wine colored mullet on overcast days.
