Excellent for tipping a 1/16 oz. jig or a size 6-8 hook in a float/drop shot configuration. The chartreuse Waxies seem to out perform the other available colors. Species I've caught using Gulp Alive Waxies include Bluegill, Pumpkinseed sunfish, small Largemouth, Common carp and yearling Brown trout. They're extremely resilient, easily withstanding 6-8 fish. Unfortunately, the jar is extremely prone to leakage. To avoid this, cut a small hole in the jar seal leaving 2/3 intact. I recommend keeping the jar in a leak proof plastic bag as a secondary precaution.

I use them to tip Marmooska lures for fishing panfish through the ice (perch & sunfish). They are every bit as effective as the real thing.

Worked as good as live bait. Stays on hook a lot longer than live bait. Jars leak if you pull seal off. Cut around jar mouth and leave the edge to act as a seal.
