Great for trout just a small # 10 or #8 long shank hook run thru the minnow and out the bottom. Cast and slow retrive.

I had never used a fake bate like this in tell someone told me to try it. I thought it was a waste of money but I got some to try it and Boy did it work I used two of the black shad minnows one day out Walleye fishing and I caught my limit. The guy I went out with spent most of the time using Fat head minnows and he caught less fish then I did. It will save you money in the long run and they don't die, I wish this kind of bait was around a long time ago. Good job Gulp Baits...I have nothing bad to say about this Bait.

Works better for crappie than real minnows, twister tails, crawlers and waxies! Awesome bait... will buy again... i caught 15 crappie on just one of these little plastic things! Was hesitant to spend [$] on something i have never heard of or used, but it was well worth the money!!!

It look so much like a minnow,the fish couldn't resist biteing. It is a product that I will use in every season because of it's unique reusability. You just dip it back into the atracttant and you're ready to go again.
