Comments about Strike King Lure Co. Strike King Saltwater Flats Jig Heads:

Have not had the opportunity to try yet, but am very impressed with its appearance. Very large hook and gap. 1/8 oz hook is same size as 1/4. Look forward to pairing them up with Strike King redfish magic tails and DOA Cal shad tails!

Comments about Strike King Lure Co. Strike King Saltwater Flats Jig Heads:

I use the Flats Jig Head for light tackle striper applications. They work great with Strike King and
Z-man swim baits and soft jerkbaits. I crimp down the collar barb to rig the baits more easily and
secure them to the head with a drop of super glue.

The hook in the jig is big and strong. I fish
them around rock cover and the paint and lead
hold up better than any jig head I have used.

The red head is all I use.
I don't think there is a better jig head for Florida backwater fishing.
The red head and eyes make the fish strike it.

Comments about Strike King Lure Co. Strike King Saltwater Flats Jig Heads:

these wide gap jig heads increased our hook ups so much, i really like the clear coat ones best with a roach colored plastic. try these in 1/8 and 1/4 oz in your bay and you will agree. it seems like the jig heads cast a little better, feels like strike kings 0z is heavier than others, we are using the 1/8 oz in 7ft of water and catching lots of speckeld trout in the Galveston Bay areas. I stongly recommend trying these jig heads. Thanks for such a wonderful product, I have the same jig head on my line still, they last longer than the others.
