A great lure for certain conditions however I'm disappointed with quality of my new ones, there are signs of rust where the hooks go through the blade and this never happened with older product.

You won't find a better blsde bait available. I use these for jigging the deep (25-40) breaks anytime of the year. If you like to feel your lure working you won't find a better lure to use.Casting off the breaks and working it back like a jig will put a lot of walleye and smallmouth in your live well. I've got every color in every size in my store and in my box. Fishing a 150 plus days a year you need a go to bait and you won't find a better on to use then the Cicada. This is a great, I said great lure....HOWEVER, the hooks are lousy, change them first, and you will be amazed on what hits it.....I fish Lake Erie and everything hits it, from Walleye to Perch, and you will get action from Sheepshed if you like the that kind of action???......tremendous bait, but change them hooks, and do not direct tie either
