I use the product to tie Trout Spawn for lake and river fishing in Colorado where I guide, I have also used the product in MN, MIC, and WI for steelhead and large brown trout. I like that its ready to just cut one time to lenght and away you go.
Comments about Atlas-Mikes Atlas Spawn Netting:
It takes a little practice getting the correct amount of roe for the size of the mesh and holding the 4 corners secure while wrapping the stretch thread around the top, but the end product is worth the effort. I keep them in a glass jar, refrigerated, until ready to use.

This netting is useful for protecting soft baits such as chicken liver, cheese, dough or any other soft bait that may be used.

Comments about Atlas-Mikes Atlas Spawn Netting:
Netting is very easy to work with when tying egg sacs. Only get a couple strikes/fish off each one though before the netting tears open.

the one and only thing with the netting is the squares could be smaller, say 2in. square.

Great when making your own spawn sacs. Either single eggs or small clusters, the use of Atlas netting makes doing this a breeze. I had problems finding the netting this time round but FishUSA.com had it, Bravo!

I fish first ice off with egg bags tied with spawn from Kokanee. I consistently catch lots of 16" to 20" browns and rainbows. Great stuff!

We use this product to fish the fish eggs during spawn on canal out of lake Ogalala in Nebraska. It was a must during the trout tournement held there to be competitive. It is a little delicate when snagged or hit by a fish, but fish never drop because they feel the netting.A must with magic thread for bait fishing rainbow trout durng the spawn. You will not believe how well it works!
