Siglon F line - a center pin favorite! Siglon F Fluorescent Monofilament Line from Sunline provides optimum performance due to a unique process that fills the spaces between the nylon molecules with resin. As a result, Siglon F is moisture-proof, curl free, strong and shock-resistant - in other words, it is the ideal fishing line. A special technique also prevents the fluorescent color of the line from fading.

Comments about Sunline America (Siglon F) Sunline Siglon F Fluorescent Monofilament Line:

I have been using Siglon F for a year now on my center pin. This line seems to have a lot of memmory. After landing a few fish the line starts twisting to the point it's unusable. I then have to strip a bunch of line off my reel so im able to cast again...very frustrating. Maybe I got a bad spool? I'll most likely try it one more time since I like its visibility and strength.

Comments about Sunline America (Siglon F) Sunline Siglon F Fluorescent Monofilament Line:

I use the Siglon as a base line with a flourocarbon leader. Line mends well and is long lasting and can handle lots of wear and tear. Spool design is poor due to the shape of the spool which makes it tougher to transfer line to reel.

Comments about Sunline America (Siglon F) Sunline Siglon F Fluorescent Monofilament Line:

I bought this product in orange and in 6lb. and 8lb for use on my centrepins. It is fairly thin - a good quality - and supple. More importantly, it is strong at the knot. But probably the most important reason I bought it is its floating quality. I have only used the 6lb. on a new centrepin and a homemade custom 11' noodle rod. While fishing it I went to to a 3lb. tippet; it was a perfect combination. Only fished the product one day but I wouldn't use any other product on any of my centrepins.

I've been using this line on my centrepin reels long before it was available in the US. It has always been the best line I have found for Float Fishing the Great Lakes Tributaries. I have never found the bright colors to make a difference to the fish, but it makes it so much easier for the fisherman or fisherwoman and even more so for the kids.

Comments about Sunline America (Siglon F) Sunline Siglon F Fluorescent Monofilament Line:

Awesome line for drift fishing steelehead streams. I use a spinning set up and float spawn almost exclusively. Line is easy to see and helps you when you need to mend your line from drifting ahead of the float. Fish don't seem to mind the yellowish orange color as long as you use a florocarbon leader.

I honestly can see this product being relegated(for me)to a "float-fishing" only application! H2O resistance is 100% however, this mono is extremely stiff and will NOT behave well on reels other than C-pin's I'm afraid!

Comments about Sunline America (Siglon F) Sunline Siglon F Fluorescent Monofilament Line:

I tryed this line in several different type of situations, Yes it floats, but will sink like any other mono after limited use.. also found the KNOT strenght too be weak. I lost a very nice lure and bass by it breaking at the knot on the jerk. Never did turn the fish. Normally I use 14 too 17 Lb test in bass pro lines, but could only order this in a 12 lb test. Also I find these companys trying to cut the diamator of the line down and still claiming the LB test still hold up.. I realy don't believe this either. yes they make it thinner but also it make it weaker at the knots.. and also it make you use more of the line too spool a reel. Therefore they sale more of the line.

Comments about Sunline America (Siglon F) Sunline Siglon F Fluorescent Monofilament Line:

Everyone knows that specific lines perform differently. Do you spool up every reel with the same line? Well if you do then...... anyways. The Siglon F Monofilament is what I have tried specifically for topwater only. A floating mono is a great idea, best performance yet on the topwater lures. To me it had great resistance to abrassion but the line memory was a little more than I expected. The shelf life and advertised resistance to UV rays are expected to keep the angler from having to change the line all that often, we'll see come this upcoming season when the ice is gone and the bite is on. If you are like me and willing to try out new products in our ever changing tackle world, give this line a try 'cuz you might like it too.

Being a avid topwater fisherman, I read in BM about a new line that is made especially for topwater comming out in 08. I couldn't find that line but in my search came across Siglon F. It caught my eye because it is constructed in the same way as the line that I was searchiing for. I must say that on the first topwater cast with a popper, I was the one hooked! (I did catch a nice Bass too!) This is the only line I'll use now for fishing on top. Love it!

This stuff really works. As far as float fishing goes, you have the floating aspect you normally get from a braid, but you also have the stretch of mono which allows forgiveness, it also is hi-viz. Recently landed a 17lb steelhead without the least bit of worries in the line.
Great Stuff!!
