I have been using Stren Hi/Viz for quite a few years now i fish trout and course it is great for me having had ops on both eyes i can see this line which helps me to follow the fish top product

TRY OTHER BRANS BUT AFTER TRYING A COUPLE OF TIMES WENT BACK TO YELLOW STREN THERE ISN'T ANY BETTER MADE.

great product for high mountain clear lakes, use it and love it. last trip out to southern utah myself and my partners caught and released over 400 monster trout using 6 and 4lb line with 4 and 2lb leaders. some of these fish were over 30 inches long and very fat.

Everybody seems to tout Stren as one of the best, and maybe they used to be. But anytime I try them, I'm usually disappointed. Figured I'd give it one more go as the price was right. Just to make sure I was doing it right, I watched a Shimano tutorial on how to properly fill a spool. Even with uber care, still had memory issues almost out of the gate. I'll pay a few dollars more and go back to my Spiderline Super Mono XXX.

Multi-purpose line for a wide variety of fish... From 6# to 20# test from Blue Gills, Bass, to Trout and Salmon...Casting or Trolling...Stren has been my favoite line for well over 25 years.

Use this line jigging and just spin fishing in lakes and streams with ultra light equipment and small immitation naturals.Slow suttle retreaves just of the bottoms mostly works well.
Also the Gold Stren works great in low light situations for crappie and walleye.
