Brand: Zebco
Located in: Line Terminal Tackle, Line and Leaders, Monofilament Line, Cajun
Cajun Red Cast line is a monofilament that packs a lot of features for a very small price. The color red is the first color to be completely filtered out by water. This means that once Cajun Red line goes under water, it starts to become invisible to fish in as little as three feet of water! All the fish see is the lure or bait. The Cajun Red Cast line also is incredibly durable.

Comments about Zebco Cajun Red Cast Line:

I have used this line for a few years I do like it and it is good line. A little hard to see but it is very durable and cast really well. I use it for steelhead and salmon and the line has never let me down. Although this is my first year to really pursue winter steelhead I consider myself a rookie steelheader but it's all about learning and enjoying being on the rivers.

Comments about Zebco Cajun Red Cast Line:

Agree with previous comments...
NOT made in USA...made in CHINA.

How can they get away with saying it's made in the USA, then says right on the spool MADE IN CHINA.?!

If you can get past that, it works nice to tie crawler harnesses...20# will usually straighten your hook on snags so you don't lose your spinners & beads.

Best Uses:
Deep Water, Fresh Water
Describe Yourself:

Bottom Line:

Comments about Zebco Cajun Red Cast Line:

HAVE BEEN USING REDLINE FOR ABOUT 10 YEARS NOW. IT SEEMS TO HAVE MADE A DIFFERENCE IN THE AMOUNT OF CRAPPIE AND WHITEBASS I CATCH. THE LINE IS EXTREMELY STRONG AND DOESNT HAVE TOO BAD OF A MEMORY. I CAN USUALLY GET BY, BY FISHING WITH 4LB. TEST LINE. AT NIGHTIME I USUALLY SWITCH TO 8 LB. DONT KNOW FOR SURE WHAT I WILL CATCH AND WANT TO GET FISH IN BOAT QUICKER, SINCE I CANT SEE HANGUPS AS EASILY.

Comments about Zebco Cajun Red Cast Line:

I fished this for a week on the St.Lawrence in upstate NY. It has very low visibility under 10ft. of water, but it gets scratched up. The monofilament went from smooth to rough and was wearing down in just a week. I ended up loosing a nice lure on a cast...I let it go and the line snapped from becoming so weak. I'll stick to regular monofilament for now. (The stuff I had was the 25lb. test)
