Was using this tip-up line for walleye in deep water, the line did an excellent staying pliable in cold weather would highly recommend.

All of the tackle shops over the last few years have gone to providing small spools of tip-up line. All of the line manufacturers offer tip-up line in 150 yard spools but the retailers only offer 50 yard spools. This line sheds water well before water has a chance to freeze in the open air. Not all of the water slips off before freezing with temperatures below zero, however, tending to make the line slightly stiff at times. This does not effect reeling in or prevent line from easily stripping out.

I used this line on Polar tip ups and had the line suddenly break when a fish was on. This happened on two different tip ups. Changed the line immediately. I bought the line last winter and put it on the tip ups but didn't use them until this past weekend.
