Super strong and thin line, simply the best.
Comments about Berkley Berkley FireLine Micro Ice Fused Crystal:
Bought this line for fine ice fishing (small jigs),but line very visible and was very hard to fish with small jigs.
Comments about Berkley Berkley FireLine Micro Ice Fused Crystal:
It's very thin so the lure falls fast and the line diameter makes it good for small jigs. It pricy for 50 yards andd 50 yards is not enough to fill most small ice fishing reels without having backing line.
Comments about Berkley Berkley FireLine Micro Ice Fused Crystal:
I like this no streach line in combination with a longer rod for good hookset when fishing in deep water.
Comments about Berkley Berkley FireLine Micro Ice Fused Crystal:
USE THIS WEEKEND AND I AM HAPPY WITH IT
Comments about Berkley Berkley FireLine Micro Ice Fused Crystal:
Although super strong, it's just a little too stiff for ice fishing. When used with light panfish jigs the line just had too much memory and therefore I didn't have direct feel with the bait.

Excellent Line!!!!

great for ice fishing
Comments about Berkley Berkley FireLine Micro Ice Fused Crystal:
Very impressed with the translucents of this superline and its strenth. However it just has too much memory for ice fishing small panfish jigs. There would always be just a little coil left in the line when fishing tiny bluegill jigs, not good. I prefer a straight tight line going down to my lure, I think most panfish anglers would agree.
Comments about Berkley Berkley FireLine Micro Ice Fused Crystal:
Very strong with little coil memory. I had no trouble tying it as others have reported. You need sharp nippers to cut the tag end otherwise it will fray. I can't speak to durability yet as I just started using it this ice fishing season but so far so good.

I got the 4 pound test line......it is extremely hard to break and should be good for most walleyes we will encounter
Comments about Berkley Berkley FireLine Micro Ice Fused Crystal:
I use Micro Ice Crystal icefishing so i tried it this spring for Bluegills and Crappie its the real thing, very thin diameter but strong I use the 1# and 2# with ultra lite equipment its great.Mono line of the same test seems to break easy upon hookset not this stuff.
Comments about Berkley Berkley FireLine Micro Ice Fused Crystal:
This is very strong and thin fishing line. As soon as a person figures out the best way to tie it it works out great
Comments about Berkley Berkley FireLine Micro Ice Fused Crystal:
If I did not think this was any good I would not buy it all the way from New Zealand
Comments about Berkley Berkley FireLine Micro Ice Fused Crystal:
I wanted a line that was really strong but at the same time have a small diameter for ice fishing. I only had to use this one time to know this was the line for me. From little bluegills to a 4 1/2 lb channel cat on 2 lb test. This is my line for ice fishing for good !!!!!
Comments about Berkley Berkley FireLine Micro Ice Fused Crystal:
no more tangles, twist and it is strong.i would like to see bigger spools

I purchased this product to spool up a size 20 shimano spinning reel to be used for float fishing a great lakes tributary in search for steelhead. My setup utilizes this line in 6 lb diameter, a very small two way swivel, then roughly 4 feet of fluorocarbon line in 4-6 lb test depending on water conditions. The line is very bouyant and makes mending the line easy when float fishing. The line goes on and off the spool very well and has great casting distance. It's very slick through your eyelets and will not break when hooked up with a 10 lb steelie (so long as your drag is set up right). I had never used a super line for drift/float fishing before, but after using this product I will probably continue to do so. Great line.

Comments about Berkley Berkley FireLine Micro Ice Fused Crystal:
The micro ice line at three pound test is very thin and strong. It would not surprise me that the line is actually much stronger than its rated 3 pound test. I like the thin nearly round diameter and the color which is not glaring bright white. This line has minimal stretch which should allow me to effectively feel and react to striking fish. The 50 yard spool will suit me fine in that I'll apply the line over older line on my reel spool. For my type of trout fishing I do I never have the need to more than a 100 feet of fishing line. The 50 yard spool is just perfect for me for my type of trout fishing.

Worked great only had one problem. When I hooked into an approximately 50" Musky this small test line broke very quickly. I wasn't planing on a Musky hitting it right next to the boat. LOL!
It was fun while it lasted! I caught 6 rock bass and 3 small mouth bass with it no problems.
