Cortland Large Arbor PE Flat Fly Line Backing was designed specially for anglers using large and super large arbor fly reels. This backing features a small diameter and a flat surface which allows for a full 100 yards of backing to be added to most large arbor reels. We carry Cortland Large Arbor PE Flat Fly Line Backing in 100 yard spools in 12, 15, 20, 30 and 50 pound test. This backing features 100% polyethylene construction and comes in an olive green color.

It does seem to take up less room on the arbor. Plus you can't beat the service from Fish Erie!

This line is advertiesed for LA reels buy is to thin to fill the reel. you will need to add backing to fill the spool.
