I couldn't keep the line from looping off the reel. The reel was nowhere near full of line either. This is very frustrating when your standing waist deep in the middle of a river. When it did cast without a backlash it casted great. It's very clear in the water and seems to be strong and sensitive. I would recommend this line if your using a baitcaster, jigging or bumping bottom. However, if your casting with a spinning reel stay away from it.

triple fish might be fine for fishing warmer temps, but it's terrible in colder water. bought this line last november and what would have been my best day ever on Elk turned into my worst as every fish broke this line or pulled the fly off at the knot. My bad for not having a back up. Would not recommend this line for any kind of fishing from November thru March.
