This line is the easiest I have ever used for tying crawler harnesses. And I started back in the 60's, when we did not have all the choices we do today. Try this line. you will be surprised.

I finally purchased this line for river/lake trout fishing because i finally had enough of the berkley trilene fluorocarbon line. This line is like casting a line of silk but very durable to be so light!. Also i have found that using this line i can casts (so much farther than i would like sometimes lol) with very little effort. I have caught plenty of hefty trout, bass, and suckers with this 4lb test line with no issues at all. A couple of the trout were nearly 8lbs!!!. So i strongly recommend this line for freshwater fishing.

I like the way it handles.

switched to seaguar with no regrets. great knot strength and line integrity. best cold water fluoro out there. haven't lost any steelies to brittle line or knot slippage since I started using the seaguar.

Have used 4 lb. , 10 foot leader on trolling leadcore works great , also for leader for bait stick works great in fresh water !!!

Next is some 15-20 lb. flavors for doing salt water.

Seaguar Fluorocarbon rocks. I increased my hit ratio and the line performed exceptionally. I tried Fluoro a couple of months ago and was turned off by the brittle nature of the product. However, once learning how to properly tie knots specific to Fluoro and using the Seaguar brand, i will fish with no other leader material.

1) When tightening knots, it is of paramount importance to KEEP THE LINE WET! I'm not talking about using saliva or holding the line in your mouth as you pull on the knot, (you can actually feel the knot heating up in your mouth.) I mean actually submersing the knot/line while you pull. I have a bowl of water on my table that I immerse the entire knot in while tightening the knot. On the river, that is less of an enjoyable experience as the water temperature is usually 38F or less. In those instances, I lubricate the knot with a viscous gel/attractant and that works well too. Highly recommended.
