Comments about Power Pro PowerPro Braided Spectra Fiber Line:
angler needs to pay more attention to rod and reel specifics than with mono. Once you learn what works with braid then it is a far better line than mono IMO....casting distance is significantly improved. Sensitivity to bites is incredible. Spool will hold quite a bit more line than with mono, I fish inshore a lot around the space center in eastern central Florida and only respool yearly. I fish about 150-200 days per year (I'm retired). I'v caught many 30+ pound redish on a 260 penn slammer reel spooled with 15# powerpro with no problems. (great fun on light tackle)
used 80# powerpro in the Amazon for 20+lb peacock

I have used this product for walleye and Steelhead since purchasing it. Have already landed 2 steelhead and a 29" walleye using the product. These are wary fish and they fell to this product. Very confident in the hooksetting ability, strength, and castability. Just be careful putting your finger on the line when a fish is pulling on the other end. You may end up with a nice little cut, because of the strength and fine diameter of the line.

I like using Power Pro line for float fishing for steelhead. It casts well, and its small diameter allows me to get my jig down to proper depth with a minimum of weight.

Comments about Power Pro PowerPro Braided Spectra Fiber Line:
This is thin line compared to others of the same test, and seems to be as strong. I do see that it gets lighter in color as you fish day after day. I have also seen it start to fray with use. But all braid seems to. I take 10 to 20 feet off all the time. No knot problems.
Comments about Power Pro PowerPro Braided Spectra Fiber Line:
Great feel. Fantastic casting. Instant hook ups. The best braid period.
Comments about Power Pro PowerPro Braided Spectra Fiber Line:
I am fascinating of the streamer line agility and strength. I use it to trolling and angling. But even for a caste-rod. It has never messed up for me.

have got powerpro braided on all our reels for fishing the beach, boat, estuary and especially
rocks. Can stand being rubbed on rocks and less likelyhood of breaking.

Comments about Power Pro PowerPro Braided Spectra Fiber Line:
Great line for mid level dipsy divers. Excellent choice for backing lead core (30 lb) and copper wire (50 lb). It’s so tough you will need high quality scissors to cut it. Standard fingernail clippers only crush it and won’t cut it.
Comments about Power Pro PowerPro Braided Spectra Fiber Line:
this line seems to have no streach and results in solid hook ups
Comments about Power Pro PowerPro Braided Spectra Fiber Line:
I prefer light tackles. This line offers thin diameter with ample of powers.

I use the line with most of my fishing applications. I add an in line swivel and florocarbon leader for less stretch then mono.

Comments about Power Pro PowerPro Braided Spectra Fiber Line:
Great line -- very thin for the 30lb test, so it doesn't get much belly at all between the rod and canon ball when I'm trolling. I highly recommend it.

Comments about Power Pro PowerPro Braided Spectra Fiber Line:
PowerPro line simply works great. I can use the heaver test line with power pro and still get the benefits of casting a lighter line due to the line size. The line usually sets the hook for you and requires little or no effort in setting the hook since the line has very little stretch.
Great line!
