These hooks are very stong - I've never opened one up fighting a fish, and they are very sharp.

I use this hooks for years to fish for trout in North Central Pa. They are very sharp and great when used with 2 pound test line.wish I can get them in packs of 100.

I buy these in 50 qty for use during salmon season. I prefer better/sharper hooks for trout, but these are fine when you're losing lots of gear to the monsters.
