The Mustad 3551 Treble Hook is Mustad#39;s standard freshwater treble hook. These hooks are great for a wide variety of applications including replacements hooks on spoons, spinners, minnow baits, jerk baits and live and artificial bait rigs. These hooks feature a treble design with ringed eyes and a bronze finish. Hooks sizes 20-5-0 come 25 hooks per pack. Hooks size 14-0 are sold individually.

I use these Hooks with Berkley Power Bait. They stay sharp and have a large eyelet. This makes them easy to tie on.

I will normally change-out the trebels on any crankbait I'm fishing that do not come with Mustad hooks.I love the blue-collar workhourse bandit cranks in the 200 and 300 series.They come equipted with Mustad hooks.Fishing these cranks made me a believer.I have tried the higher prised hooks,and there is no discernable difference,plus I feel good about resharpening them.

The #12 Mustad Treble is a good size for panfish. I use it hooked to very small lures (like spoons) to catch crappie especially. It has a dark bronze color which is important to not stand out. Mustad Trebles are very sharp hooks that snag fish mouths quickly.
