I use this hook in the gold color everytime I trout fish. My son and I fished 3 days and caught 48 keeper trout. We use it with salmon eggs.
I have no reason to ever buy any other brand. My only wish I bought more we went through all the hooks and 6.5 jars of eggs.

I use these hooks for bank fishing for rainbow trout. I snell two of these hooks about 14 inches apart on a 3 & 1/2 foot leader and fish off the bottom with a sliding egg sinker. I like these hooks because they are big enough to hold 2 Berkeley Powereggs or 1 Poweregg and a ball of Powerbait. They are also big enough for worms. My last trip to the lake on 11/11/2010 I caught 5 legal rainbows in about 2 hours and never lost a fish once it was hooked.
