The Blackbird Phantom Floats feature clear plastic construction with hi-vis orange or chartreuse tops. The clear plastic makes them nearly invisible in the water and very durable. Blackbird Phantom floats made in Canada by Redwing Tackle and are very popular for trout, steelhead and salmon fishing. These floats come two to a package. These floats have a slit in the bottom section to put the line through, and come with silicon tubing to hold the line in place on the top and bottom of the float.

Great strike indicator, only down fall is chartuese is hard to see in the sun. Must match size for weight. Good purchase.

I use these indicators for nymph fishing for salmon and steelhead on the P.M.river in Michigan. (flyfishing) They work great!

Been using these floats for about 4 to 5 years. Fish them for trout, lake runs and bass. All around hard float to beat for clear or off colored water. Provide excellent float and drag free drift presentation. Make sure to carry different sizes for different water flows.

Great for steelhead fishing when fish are very shy. Very little resistance for the fish to pull down.
