Not only does the shield protect the display from moisture and debris such as ice and snow, the shield magnifies the display, intensifies the color variations, and increases the viewing performance in all light conditions.

Works well, but you have to be looking at the vexilar straight on other wise the edges are hard to see. Best purchased for protecting the vexilar lens, wouldn't recommend purchasing just for better vision.
