Easy to put on and take off when going from shallow water (under 10 ft) to deeper water. Makes small ice jigs show up well. Need to turn up the gain a little, but it made a big difference.

Works good in shallow water as advertised, but it seems to need more gain which lessens battery life.

I have had a vexilar FL-8 for ice-fishing for many years and always had to much clutter to read depth or see fish in water 15' or less. Since I put on the S-cable I can now see in those depths.And it has improved my fishing.
