Like Black Magic, the Strike Master Lazer hand ice auger is probably the fastest and most comfortable hand ice auger ever manufactured for the ice fisherman. The unique shape and grind of the Chrome Alloy stainless steel Strikemaster Laser blades, and a powder coated auger unit to reduce ice build-up, make the StrikeMaster Lazer hand auger the only hand auger ever built that will drill through a re-frozen ice fishing hole with the same ease as drilling a fresh hole.

I matched this 6 inch auger with a Rigid cordless hsmmer drill and the ice master conversion adapter. I can cut at least 15 holes through 20+ inches of ice on a single charge. It cuts faster than the gas augers

Comments about StrikeMaster StrikeMaster Lazer Hand Ice Augers:

I have read all of the great reviews on the Nils Master and decided to order one. It worked great for about 10 holes and it stopped cutting for me. The cutting edge angle moved, probably due to improper treated steel. I was so mad as it took me 1 hour to cut my last hole and then it just won't work anymore. I finally return it and bought the Lazer for half the price and I cannot be any happier. Not only did it perform faultlessly, the blades are stainless steel so I don't have to dry and oil it after everytime I use it. The attachment screw locks the two pieces together really well and does not come loose during use. Also, the blade guard was much easier to put on and take off.

Comments about StrikeMaster StrikeMaster Lazer Hand Ice Augers:

Light weight, cuts through 8" - 10" ice fast without binding up or wobble. Absolutely beats my 7" Mora on weight and ease of use. Very comfortable to use and it's light weight means more room in the sled for extras.

Comments about StrikeMaster StrikeMaster Lazer Hand Ice Augers:

I was impressed that I could use my own 18v Dewalt Cordelss Drill with the adapter. With sharp blades I was able to drill a 6 in. hole through 7 in. ice in seconds. I got 10 holes on my first battery and 11 on the second. It's nice not having to additional weight to tote, and there is no seasonal fuel storage issues.

Without any downward pressure, it cuts through ice in seconds. You could drill dozens of holes without being worn out. MUCH easier than I would have expected. I can't see why I would need a power auger...
