We'll see how long they last. The original pair lasted for about 50-75 holes. Hopefully they can be sharpened.

People are always amazed at how fast and easy I drill my holes. I usually can have my holes drilled with my 5" hand auger before they get their gas auger out and running. Drill through 18-20 inches of ice in less then 30 seconds.

After about 5 years the original blades no longer cut well and I was not able to sharpen them to where they would -- could shave arm hair but still didn't cut ice. With new blades I can cut a 7" hole thru 15" of ice in about 45 seconds.
