Comments about Northland Fishing Tackle Northland Trick-Stick Classic Ice Rod-Reel Combos:

Spring bobbers in tip were blocked with foam could not thread in line had to heat up a paper clip to open it up. Rods hold up on big fish got a couple of big non target species while pan fishing didn't break the rod or burn out the drag.

Comments about Northland Fishing Tackle Northland Trick-Stick Classic Ice Rod-Reel Combos:

Used this rod to ice fish for trout. Trout caught on rod range from 1-3 lbs. The rod is very sensitive for jigging 1/4 - 3/8 oz. jigs even though it is listed as a med. weight. Able to feel the jigs at the end of the line and have the capability to fight larger fish. Reel has play in the handle. This means that the anti-reverse of the reel is of lower quality. Overall, for the price and for chasing panfish and trout...good buy as an entry level combo.
