I bought these hooks to use as spares for my Hali jigs, and ended up using them to customize other lures that I had in my box. Make great dropper rigs off any jigging spoon.

These hooks in conjunction with the Hali Sukkula are one of the most effective ice fishing lures I have found in the last 20 years of ice fishing in the Northeast. I hook and land 9 out of every 10 bites. Mostly crappie, yellow perch, and sunfish. You do need to be careful in removing the hooks because the can break.

I'm new to ice fishing and was turned on to these by a veteran ice fisherman. They work great for pan fish, though the hooks are very soft and bend when being removed. They can easily be re-shaped, but that's not good for big fish. I broke a chain on a steelhead. When I figure out how to make my own, I'll stop buying these, as they are expensive for what you get. Nothing beats the action you get from them, but they need better hooks for that price.
