I've gone to the Korker 3-sole boots,but,I have kept these sandals as backups.After trudging around the river all day they REALLY feel heavy. However, you stick to the bottom like glue.

When inspecting 72" and larger diameter sewer interceptors with high (chest wader's needed) water or fast flows (7 to 9 feet per second) or both, these units are literally life savers. I was able to stand mid stream in an old brick pipe with 8 inches of flow at 9 feet per second with out having my feet taken out from under me. Bear in mind these were used in conjunction with a 0.25" steel safety line and body harness. Great product!(sewer work=chasing the browns)

I have never felt so safe walking on slippery shale.They are a little heavy but with the confidence you will have walking on slippery shale
its well worth it.

this won't fit a size 15 boot like advertised. probably OK with size 14.
Otherwise you stuck with some goods...

When you're fly fishing in the rocks, especially out in Montauk, better have a pair of these korkers to keep you from severe injury and/or death. Seriously.
