These mittens are the best I've found for rowing a drift boat in frigid temps. They provide exceptional grip while providing super warmth!!
If your hands are cold from fishing you end up begging to row the boat, just so you can slip into these mittens.
The Brown trout bite is best when the conditions are bad...cold and wet. My Polar Eskimo Mittens let me stay on the water all day.

great gloves! very resistant to sharp hooks that put holes in many other types of gloves. completely water proof (i have used my hand to scoop ice from my fishing hole) and my hands stay dry. the only drawback is when the outside of them is wet they can get stiff on very cold days. even when there stiff your hands are warm inside though. i haven't found a better ice fishing mitten yet.

My husband had a pair of these mittens when he used to do shellfishing in the winter. He has looked for them in recent years and I decided to find some for him for Christmas. He was thrilled! He works for a school department and has to plow and shovel. These mittens keep his hand dry and the textured surface keeps them from slipping.

I love the Polar Mittens for ice fishing with tip-ups. They are the best on cold days and have room inside for hand warmers on a really cold day. I always remove my mittens when setting up tip-ups or checking a flag. So I love the Polar Mittens because they are easy to get on and off. The Polar Mittens are too bulky to set-up tip-ups or play a fish, so if you can't tolerate the cold with bare hands, you'll need to wear a thin pair of gloves inside your Polar Mittens. Polar Mittens are also a little bulky for jigging, although I've done it on very cold days. Liners are removable for drying and replacable which are great features. Buy a spare pair of liners in case yours get wet while fishing!

These mittens are great for ice fishing. They keep your hands dry. I wear them over liner gloves and they pull off quickly when you need the extra dexterity. The're awesome for filleting those big slimy pike out on the ice!
