Comments about HT Enterprises HT Enterprises Ice Blue-Accucast Ice Rod-Reel CombosOff:
The combo is superb and the rod is ultra light and helps detect the lightest bites......I use 2 and 3 pound test with the outfit.........my kids really like the colors and the sensitivity of the rod really helps them tag more fish......it is not a St. Croix Legend Ice, but for the money......it is a great ice fishing combo.........I have owned an ice blues since I started Ice Fishing.......great little stick

The sensitivity of this rod shows even the lightest of bites , but at the same time , have brought 20" rainbows (on 4lb test) in with the HT preforming perfect . The length and action of the rod has saved many "get offs". Been useing them for 2 years , for trout or panfish , wouldn't use anything else. These are not walleye jigging sticks , but would probably be a blast to try !!!

Ever since childhood, HT has been a good product, also priced for the lower class people that do not have to buy a 100 dollar set up. This new system of feather light rods is the best system I have used. This rod is sensitive, but has enough backbone to pull in a Wyoming two pound rainbow.
Super fun day, 15 rainbows hit the ice.

Comments about HT Enterprises HT Enterprises Ice Blue-Accucast Ice Rod-Reel CombosOff:
I bought three of the ultra lights, the reels are pretty cheezy after catching 2-3 pound fish, the drags go out. I went back to a good dependable spinning reel on their rod and was much more satisfied. Might be OK for panfish but not for hardy rainbows. Price should be the first clue.
Beware.
