Comments about Eskimo (Ardisam, Inc.) Eskimo QuickFish Series Ice Shelters:

The side the wind is on pushes the wall in. I'd like to have something I can tighten/loosen in the wall that would fix that. I suppose the 5th and 6th anchors can hold the wind side with the included string. Set up is great. I'd like one or two sides with two windows for easier viewing of my tip ups.

Comments about Eskimo (Ardisam, Inc.) Eskimo QuickFish Series Ice Shelters:

Purchased the Quickfish 3 shelter last year and used it several times. The material the shelter is made of is great. On the warm days it traps the natural heat from the sun and on the cold days it keeps the heat in from my buddy heater in. I found when using the Quickfish 3 it is better suited for two guys for two reasons. 1 - Pops and I like toys - flashers, his camera etc. 2 - we almost never drive on the ice with anything other than a Gator (for mobility) and most of what we take out comes in the shelter. I would like for the shelter to come with 8 ice screws not 6 as previously mentioned and I would like to see the bottom trim to have a wider width to make a better wind stop. No real issues though. I shopped around a lot looking at the others Clam, Frabil etc. Eskimo is the best choice – don't hesitate!

I have a Quickfish 3, only issue is that, the wall that takes blunt of the wind, collapses. Perhaps there is a way to tighten the hub system???

Comments about Eskimo (Ardisam, Inc.) Eskimo QuickFish Series Ice Shelters:

I love ice fishing but cannot stand the wind. With this product I was able to fish in the middle of the lake, 17 deg with a 3 below wind chill and 15-30mph winds barreling down on me and I was as snug as a bug in a rug. I caught trout and smallmouth all day as over a dozen people came and left because of the winds and cold.
The shelter sets up in a minuet or less and breaks down just as easy and I fish alone. The screws are the best I have ever used. They screw into the ice by hand with minimal effort. The set comes with 6 but you really should have 8. The windows are very clear and allowed me to watch my tip-ups from my chair...prefect eye level. Another pro was if you can get the sun to beam on one or more then one windows, it heats up the structure in no time. Great product that is well constructed with quality parts. Days that were blown-out are no longer...

Comments about Eskimo (Ardisam, Inc.) Eskimo QuickFish Series Ice Shelters:

The unit works great. purchased in 2009. I had a craked window and they sent me new ones of a diffent material. No cracks and we fished at -27F. The size is great and the steaks are better than any on the market. the point helps screw it quickly into the ice. The welded washer stops the tent from rising up like the clam and others

Comments about Eskimo (Ardisam, Inc.) Eskimo QuickFish Series Ice Shelters:

This is the second fishing shelter I have used. This product lives up to it's claims about ease of setup and stowing. It fishes two people real comfortable with enough room for the gear inside out of the weather.

Comments about Eskimo (Ardisam, Inc.) Eskimo QuickFish Series Ice Shelters:

I like to research items before I buy them. I prefer to buy things of quality that last. The ESKIMO 3 was more than I expected. I looked at other shelters that were more expensive and chose this one. Great floor size 70" x 70" and over 6 1/2 ft of head room. I have plenty of room for all my equipment and another person. Folds down in even less time than it takes to set up. Excellent value for the money.
