Comments about Frogg Toggs Frogg Toggs Rana Breathable Stockingfoot Hip Waders:

Would probably be a good product if the gravel guard was redesigned. Tightness of the elastic there makes boot extremely difficult to put on and remove. Thought about snipping the elastic but decided not to as that would probably have rendered the guard useless.

These wadders are a good choice for small to meduium size streams when it's to hot to wear chest high wadders.

Comments about Frogg Toggs Frogg Toggs Rana Breathable Stockingfoot Hip Waders:

These hip waders are great except for the gravel guards. The guards are WAY to small, so small I cut the elastic in half after the first use. I am a woman and had first ordered size medium, which fitted great in the hips but the gravel guards were impossibly small, so I sent them back and ordered size large and sill they were so uncomfortable I ended up cutting the elastic[...]Even after cutting the elastic on the gravel guards they are still difficult to get off.

Very happy with the overall product. I'm a little rough on waders, so reinforced knees would be helpful for me. Otherwise, I think they are a good value.

I fish smaller streams so hip waders work well for me. These are great waders and the price is right. I like the stockingfoot because you can choose the type boot you want to wear.

Comments about Frogg Toggs Frogg Toggs Rana Breathable Stockingfoot Hip Waders:

This is my first pair of hip waders and I'm glad I chose the Frogg Toggs. As others have noted elsewhere on the 'net, they do fit snug in the ankle area, but I like that as I have skinny legs. Considering, then, how snugly the ankles are, I don't know why the tops are disproportionately huge. That in itself isn't a problem, but there are no cinching straps (or even simple snaps) for the tops other than the straps to hold them up. They are breathable, but not AS breathable as my regular chest waders (which are actually budget waders under $100). My first trip in them was two weeks ago, and the waders collected condensate even though it was only 28*F out. The material is very tough--almost rubbery feeling--and I foresee no problems with durability. I like them because they force me to stop wading too deep (I think many people wade way deeper than necessary just because it's fun) and they'll be much cooler in warmer weather than waist-high or chest-high waders. Overall, I'm very happy with them.

easy on off. very light and comfortable. Would like to have seen reinforced knees as I use them for surf fishing and often kneel in the sand. Only used them twice so far and they work just fine. Good value for the price.

The size is right but a little tight around the ankles. If you have large ankles order the next size up. They dry fast and feel very durable. Can't beat the price.

Comments about Frogg Toggs Frogg Toggs Rana Breathable Stockingfoot Hip Waders:

I bought these because they seemed cooler than chest waders for the warm weather. The sizing seems to be a little small (I wear size 9 shoes and got size Medium) and my feet had difficulty getting around the ankle in the bootie.

I like them pretty well but the clip to keep the gravel guards down fell off on my right wader even though I had only had them about two weeks.

So far no leaks and other than the clip falling off because of the stitching, they seem okay.
