This stuff is great for tying sucker spawn, but the size of it varies over the length of the yarn. Some of it's thicker in spots, making for uneven flies if not properly trimmed. I haven't tried, but it might also make some really small glo bugs...

this product is not good for making glo bugs.But i purchased a pack of the regular glo budg yarn and it worked out perfectly.I just cut it down the middle and making small glo bugs is easy.The micro yarn is probably good for other syles...i,e.sucker spawn and other flies just not for glo bugs i found it difficult if not impossible to make perfectly round balls with it.

I really like Glo-bug yarn and the price here is great. The micro yarn is really thin and there is a lot in each little bag. I use for tying micro spawn and some small veiled egg patterns it works good. For the price at Fishusa.com I would say try it you cant go wrong.

I am new to tying egg patterns and this material stumped me. Not at all like a thick fluffier material a guide used to show me how to tie eggs.

the glo bug yarn is very easy to tie with
it is great for making eggs
i caught many steelhead on glo bug yarn it is the only thing i fish for steelhead with and it has never failed me
