I confess, I used the yarn to make mittens, but people who fish need mittens too! French angora is the best and this company is great; I'll be sharing this site with a neighbor who is an avid fisherman.

I bought this yarn to knit and crochet border trims on wool garments for tiny baby dolls. It is fine enough to use a Susan Bates #2 crochet hook, and a #2 USA knitting needle!

Comments about Belangor Angora Yarn by the ball:

I found this website looking for angora yarn for my knitting. I handknit and sell dog sweaters for tiny dogs, and the fake stuff doesn't hold up well in washing. Real angora stays fluffy and is strong, but usually is too expensive. The price here is better than any I have found, the colors are just what I needed, and the yarn is high quality and beautiful. (See more of our sweaters in our [...] store, "Meadowside Country Crafts.") I will be back for more!!

Comments about Belangor Angora Yarn by the ball:

I am a knitter.I need about 30 yards of white angora yarn to complete Santa's face and beard on each Christmas stocking. The stocking pattern was handed down to me from my Grandmother; she found the pattern in a magazine in the 1940's.Each stocking is personalized with the child's name.It is our family tradition to knit a stocking for each new member of the family.Since her passing (about 25 years ago) I have knit about 40 stockings.True french, long hair angora is hard to find and very expensive at yarn stores!I discovered your on-line store several years ago.Thank you for helping me keep this wonderful family tradition alive into the 5th generation!!

I'm tickled to be buying angora yarn from a fishing store in a more usable yardage and reasonable price than can be found at the few yarn shops that carry it. A little Angora yarn here and there enhances all knitted products especially those for children.
