I began tying my own sucker spawn and ran into a former guide who really set me straight on "how to." He said this is the only hook to use. He was right.

These are my favorite hooks to use for small nymphs (i.e. zebra midges) and egg patterns as well. They are great and I've never had one break.

The only hook I will use to tie zebra midges - which will catch most trout in KY. Several guides I know use it as well.
