Brand: Todd Kaday
Located in: Fly Fishing, Flies, Salmon and Steelhead Flies
The glo spawn fly is a spin-off from the popular sucker spawn fly. Instead of Angora, this fly is made from Glo Bug material using the same loop pattern as the sucker spawn, but more compact. Over the last several years this fly has also proven to be a favorite for steelhead in the Great Lakes tributaries. This fly is made by a local fly tyer, and is available on either a size 12 or size 14 scud hook.

Comments about Todd Kaday Glo Spawn Flies:

It would be great for high or murkey water but for normal water conditions I would fish the Scrambled egg or sucker spawn patterns sold here. But these do have there use and are a must have.

Comments about Todd Kaday Glo Spawn Flies:

The hooks used on these flies this time around were terrible quality. On the bend of the hook some of the hooks were clearly damaged from the vise. I've never had this problem before with their flies but this batch was pathetic. Look before you use. We lost some nice fish to hooks that we thought were okay. The hooks just broke with only 6 pound line.
